This privacy policy explains how the App handles your information.

Data Collection

ByeByeSugar does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All your data stays on your device. We do collect anonymous usage analytics through Firebase Analytics to help us improve the app experience (see "Analytics and Tracking" below).

What the App Stores Locally

The following data is stored only on your device:

• Challenge progress (start date, check-in history, completion status)
• Credit balance and transaction history
• Achievement unlock records
• Your selected goal preference
• Notification preferences

This data is not accessible to us or any third party. It is not synced to any cloud service.

In-App Purchases

ByeByeSugar offers consumable in-app purchases (credit packs) processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Purchase transactions are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Analytics and Tracking

ByeByeSugar uses Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to collect anonymous usage metrics. This helps us understand how the app is used so we can improve the experience. No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected.

We log the following anonymous events:

• Onboarding completed (with selected goal)
• Challenges started (length, credit cost), daily check-ins (day number, total days), completed (length), and failed (day, reason)
• Purchases completed (product ID, credits received)
• Goal changed in settings
• Shares of challenges, achievements, or the app
• Screen views when switching tabs (challenge, briefing, history, achievements)

Firebase also automatically collects session duration, retention metrics, device type, and OS version. All analytics data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally. Firebase Analytics is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, they are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers.

Third-Party Services

The App uses Firebase Analytics (by Google) for anonymous usage metrics as described above. We do not integrate with any advertising networks or data brokers.

Children's Privacy

ByeByeSugar is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
